Mass Effect one and two might just have the best game sound tack of all time.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTsD2FjmLsw

I'd dig up some other amazing songs from it, but I can't be fucked right now.

Adam I <3 you even more.

Though, apparently, Mass Effect 2 has some sweet music. Not that I've played it, but someone made some beats out of the music.

www.facepunch.com/show...p?t=889415

Never got around to listening to the version with lyrics, but eh... I'm more of an instrumental beat kinda guy anyways.

We should bring this thread back for realzzzzz!

Alice In Chains- Bleed the Freak
www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTUTJ9Ui4hg

Nothing is overly stunning about the sound of the song, it's your basic AIC, however, I'm sure we've all lived the lyrics at one point or another.

Chevelle- This Circus
www.youtube.com/watch?v=haAIy-NSp2Q

Now if you're thinking, "Chevelle has one song that's on repeat for four albums." well you're right. But this one seemed to stick out. Idk I like it at least.

A Perfect Circle- Pet
www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrEP3RPgEao

This song is basically a darker version of Pink Floyd's Mother. Speaking of which!

Pink Floyd- Mother
www.youtube.com/watch?v=lX3uCuFKlqw

Such a classic!

And finally!!!!
The Pretty Reckless-
www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIClaeK_u_U
www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN7nZpPBPN0
www.youtube.com/watch?v=I75UuLF9GyU

So the lead of this band is apparently like 16 and starring in Gossip Girls or some shit. I was pretty amazing by how non shitty she is. She sounds kinda like, and looks like as well, a young Courtney Love, you know, before heroin fully turned her into a soulless husk of a human.

<3 AIC

a perfect circle is alright, but Maynard is too pretentious for me

also ME2's soundtrack is fucking amazing.

another vidya game that has an amazing soundtrack is one i rebought at a gamestop bargain bin about a year ago called Freedom Fighters. third person shooter made by the guys who made Hitman. Russians invade US, you're a plumber-turned-freedom fighter in NYC. game is very cool. plantan US flags, tossan Molotov cocktails, bein' a sewer rat.

Pretentious or not, I've bought every Tool and APC album because I've enjoyed every one of them enough to, you know, actually want to buy it. Pet is definitely one of my favorite APC tracks. Though it is weird to listen to Pet without The Nurse Who Loved Me preceding it and Lullaby following it...

Lately I've been on big Amon Amarth kick. Never been too big into death metal because it's always very shrill and chaotic, but Amon Amarth is very melodic and entrancing to me. I usually will listen all the way through my favorite 4 of their albums; The Avenger, The Crusher, Versus the World and Fate of Norns.

The Avenger - Bleed for Ancient Gods

The Avenger - God, His Son and Holy Whore

The Crusher - Bastards of a Lying Breed

The Crusher - The Sound of Eight Hooves

Versus the World - Death In Fire

Versus the World - Where Silent Gods Stand Guard

Fate of Norns - Fate of Norns

Fate of Norns - Valkyries Ride

Still need to pick up Twilight of the Thunder God. I imagine it is fucking tits just like every one of their albums since '99.
